Inside the app
On iPhone and iPad, open Me → Account & security → Delete account. Other clients may place the control under Privacy & safety or Account & data. An authenticated deletion request restricts ordinary account access and starts a seven-day recovery period. If you used Sign in with Apple, the app may ask you to reauthorize that identity as part of deletion.
Before you continue
After the recovery period, eligible profile, iShare, relationship, message, media, location and account data is scheduled for deletion or de-identification. Your permanent iChat number is retired, not given to someone else. Copies already saved by other participants may remain on their devices. Limited payment, refund, points, fraud-prevention, safety, dispute, deletion and referral evidence may be retained when necessary; see the Privacy Policy.
Before deletion, use Download my data, where available, to export supported account, contact, iShare and accessible chat records as JSON. This does not include every local cache or media file.
Request help without the app
This form records a support request. It does not immediately disable your account or start the app's recovery period. Keep the reference number. We must verify ownership and confirm the next step before acting. You may also email ichat999@126.com with the subject PRIVACY — account deletion. Do not send your password or a verification code.
